The very first evening of the Raqs congress (International Congress of Oriental dance) is dedicated to Classic and Egyptian Oriental dance- the source and cradle of Oriental dance in all its shapes. Come and discover Cairo’s superstar : Soraya ! She is among the brightest stars of today’s Oriental Egyptian dance. Soraya will delight you through a flow of emotions, as only Egyptian stars can. A first and unique opportunity to discover this extraordinary talent in Belgium. You will also attend the final of the prestigious competition of professional dancers, the « Raqs Golden Awards ». The participants come from 8 different countries, among which Belgium, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Spain, Guadeloupe and France, the country where Lolie’s from.
